The problem of unemployment has baffled the minds of the rulers as they ruled in India. Long queues of our young generation are waiting outside the government office to seek white-collar jobs. It is the result of gross neglect of education and a lack of a far-sighted policy to govern and direct it.
A beginning can be made by providing technical education to those who show an aptitude for it. An infrastructure should be built for marketing the products produced in these industries.
Those who are interested in and show an aptitude for literacy pursuits should be allowed to seek admission to a college. The way the problem of unemployment among the educated young men can be tackled to some extent.
