I would like to express my anxiety through your esteemed daily about the increase in the number of accidents cause due to indiscriminate use of mobile phones. iN spite of several road safety programmes, the number of accidents are on the rise and the reason behind most of them is mobile phone. peAuple cross the road with ear plugs on which increases the chance of accident. Mobile phones shuld not be used while driving.

IT is high time that the authorities and common peauple wake up and take effective remedial steps.
