Sir ,
The 5th of September is celebrated as a Teacher's Day in India. In the year 1962 some students of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was then the President of India went to him to celebrate his birthday. Dr Radhakrishnan said to them,”Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 is observed a Teacher's Day”. Since then the day has been observed as the Teacher's Day in India. On this day, the students express their love and regards for their teachers in various ways. Functions are held at the local level and also at the state and national levels. Teachers are honoured with awards for the distinguished service in the cause of education. It is a proud day for all teachers to see their students look upon them with respectful and grateful eyes. It becomes the sacred duty of all students to observe this day in all devotion.

Subject - Request to publish an article.
Sir,
I am a class XI student. Since Teacher's day is only a month away, I want to request something.
Tuition teachers are those unsung heroes, who have a huge contribution to the development of the child. With meagre income, they have to give special attention, extra time to teach the children, what they should be taught in schools.
These people who are never appreciated enough, too deserve the compliment. I request you to publish a separate article this Teacher's day, on the contribution of tuition teachers.
Thank you,
Yours truly,
Neha Sharma.
