Subject: Careless attitude of people during the Covid 19 pandemic
Dear Sir:
The entire world is going through challenging and tough times. Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked unprecedented havoc in all the countries. The disease is spreading to other countries. Situation in Iran and Italy is also very critical.
In India too 9,158,062 people have been reported infected with this virus. 8,578,741 people have recovered; 133,981 people have died till date. Indian Government has taken many preventive measures. Lockdowns were implemented, which had adverse effects on the national economy. Though the Government has discontinued the lockdowns, people must continue to take precautions.
It is very sad that in our country many people are taking it lightly. They don’t maintain social distancing. Whenever people do this, they become exposed to the possibility of being infected with it. As a result there is a steep rise in the infections. People must practise basic safety guidelines and must cooperate with corona warriors to contain the spread of this disease.
Through the medium of your newspaper I appeal to the people to practise precautions and safety guidelines and help the Government tackle this situation.
