for parents we use their or my dear father or my dear mother for brothers sisters cousins we use dia with the name of the cousin or my dia with the name of the person that we are writing the letter to for relatives we use dear uncle's or dear auntie or dear uncle or aunt with their name for acquaintances.

Informal:

Sender's address (only 3 lines without your name)

Leave a line

Date in the form 6th may, 2020 (write the date when u're writing the letter)

Salutation

1st para: asking about health, family. No hi, hello.

2nd and 3rd: whatever the letter is about

Last line: “convey my regards to your family”, “convey my regards to grandpa”,”I'll be waiting to meet you”.

Yours lovingly,

Sign.

P.S.: in formal letter, the subject may or may not be mentioned. You won't be penalised...
