Formation of Himalayas in India by which forces and why we called those mountains are called fold mountains

as we know once india was a part of africa and when india separated from africa it came to the border of china and when these two land masses collided Himalayas were formed .
fold mountains are formed when two land masses push each other and then they collide that is why Himalayas are called fold mountains.

formation of himalayas is due to the external or exogenetic forces  that act from above on the surface of the earth that leads to slow and steady changes.they are so called fold mountains because they were formed 'very recently' and therefore known as young fold mountains.
