A terrain is a geographical piece of land which is described according to its natural and physical features.

The UAE or the United Arab Emirates is situated on the top at the right side of the Arabian Peninsula. It has Oman on the east and on the south, there is Saudi Arabia.

87% of Abu Dhabi's land area is covered by a consistent terrain of a desert. The other minor forms of terrains include the marine coastal areas and the mountain areas. Because of the arid climates, only 3.8% of the land area is made up of woodlands and forests. Many date palms, eucalyptus trees, and acacia are found in the oasis. Sandstorms are a common sight which causes many problems like traffic jams, etc.

The highest point in UAE is a peak in Oman and the lowest point is the Gulf of Persia.

Eighty percent of the land mass of the country is desert. Mountain areas and marine coastal areas are other ecological terrains. A high peak near the Jabal Bil Ays in Oman which is 1,910m high is the highest point in the country. The lowest point of the country is at the Persian Gulf. Only 3.8% of the land is covered by forests and woodlands.
