First divide the quadrilateral ABCD into two triangles i.e ΔACB and ΔBCD.
Thn draw perpendiculars from A to BC at E
and D to BC at F.

Thn apply the formula-
1/2 (AB * AE) + 1/2 (CD * DF)

THEN U WILL GET THE AREA OF THE REQUIRED TRIANGLE.
