A cube is a prism whose lateral surfaces and bases are of equal length. The lateral surface area of cube is the area of the four sides of the cube excluding the top and base of the cube. the formula is as follows.

Lateral Surface Area of Cube = 4a²
Total Surface Area of Cube = 6a²   (All the sides are of equal length.)

Lateral Surface Area of Cuboid = 2(L × H) + 2(B × H)
= 2(L × H + B × H)
= 2H(L + B) Units

Total Surface Area of Cuboid = 2(L × B) + 2(B × H) + 2(H × l)
= 2(L × B + B × H + H × L)
= 2(L*B + B*H + H*L)
