HimanshuPandeya: Formulas for right triangles. ... If θ is one of the acute angles in a triangle, then thesine of theta is the ratio of the opposite side to the hypotenuse, the cosine is the ratio of the adjacent side to the hypotenuse, and the tangent is the ratio of the opposite side to the adjacent side.

<b>In right angle triangle ,

sin theta = perpendicular/ Hypotaneous ( p/h )

If theta is given ;

sin0° = 0

sin30° = 1/2

sin45° = 1/√2

sin60° = √3/2

sin90° = 1

=======================

sin theta = 1/ Cosec theta

=======================

sin theta = cos( 90 - theta )
