Explanation:

Upthrust :......... When any body is submerged in a liquid then the liquid applies a force on it which is called upthrust. The unit of upthrust is Newton. its formula is = VDg where V is the volume immersed D is the density of liquid and g is the acceleration due to gravity.

(2)Thrust........ we know that Thrust = Pressure × Area and pressure is force/area. So we substitute pressure in the thrust formula and we get: Thrust= Force/Area*Area. Which simplifies to Thrust = Force
