1) SQUARE:-
Let the length of it's sides be L
Then It's area is given by L × L = L²
And it's perimeter is given by 4L
2) RECTANGLE:-
Let it's length be = A
And
it's breadth be = B
Then it's are is given by L × B
And
it's perimeter is given by 2 ( L + B )
3) TRANGLE:-
Let the side's of ∆ be a , b and c
Then it's area is given by "HERONS FORMULA"
i, e
Area of Trangle =
√{s(s - a ) ( s - b ) ( s - c ) }
Where s is semi perimeter i,e
s = ( a + b + c )/2
Where ( a + b + c ) is perimeter of whole ∆.
4) PARALLELOGRAM ( //gm ) :-
Let it's length be x
And
let it's breadth be y
Then it's area is given by
x × h
where h is perpendicular height from its length to its breadth.
And
it's perimeter = 2 ( L + B ).
