Required answer :

{ \to \bf { area \: of \: square = side \times side}}

Example:

let us took an example for better understanding :)

side = 5 cm

By applying the formula,

 = side \times side \\  = 5cm \times 5cm \\  = 25cm

Formula :

For area:

  • area of rectangle = l×b
  • area of triangle = 1/2 ×base × height

For perimeter:

  • perimeter of rectangle = 2(l +b)
  • Perimeter of square = 4× side
  • perimeter of triangle = a+b+c.

Solution:-

Area of Square = Side^2

= Side × Side

Example , Suppose A Side of a square is 14 cm . Find the area of a Square.

As We know that,

Area of Square = Side × Side

Now , Side = 14 cm

↦14 × 14 cm^2

↦ 196 cm^2

Then the area of a square is 196 cm ^2 .

More Formula :-

➊ Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

➋Area of parallalogram = Base × Vertical Height

➌ Area of triangle = 1 / 2 × base × height

➍Area of Circle = π × r ^ 2

Area of trapezium = 1 / 2 ( a + b ) × h

➎ Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side

➏ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

➐Perimeter of Parallalogram = 2 ×(Base + Height )

➑Perimeter of triangle = a + b + c
