In A.P.

For finding n no. of terms

tn=a+(n-1)d

For finding sum of n no. of terms

Sn=n/2(a+l) or

Sn=n/2[2a+(n-1)d]

here,
Sn=sum of n no. of terms
tn=n no. of terms
a = First term,
d = common difference,
n = number of terms, l=last term

Here are some important formulae you'll need-

a = First term, d = common difference, n = number of terms, l=last term

an = a + (n-1)d

d = a(n+1) - an

Sn = \frac{n}{2} (2a + (n-1)d)

or

Sn = \frac{n}{2} ( a+l)
