formula to find distance between object and mirror is?​

Let distance between object and mirror be u, image and mirror be v and focal length f.

Then,

 \frac{1}{v}   +  \frac{1}{u}  =  \frac{1}{f}

Do remember that all distances to the left of a mirror are taken negative while to the right as positive..

u and f are negative and v depends.
