let us take a number ending with 1 

=> 41

now 41² = ?

we can apply simple steps here

=> step 1 : first  , find the square of the first digit

                 => 4×4 = 16

=> step 2: secondly ,  multiply the  first digit with 2

                     => 4×2 = 8

=>step 3 : thirdly , the last number of the square will always be 1

=>step 4 : now write the numbers according to stepswise

so the number obtained is  1681
