Formula to find type of hybridisation of central atom
Answers

1
H=1/2 V+X-C+A
Where V=No. of valence electrons in central atom
X=No. of monovalent atoms around the central atom
C=Positive charge on cation
A=Negative charge on anion
If H=2 then sp hybridization
If H=3 then sp2
If H=4then sp3
If H=5 then sp3d
and so on
