Surface area formula

Cube: Surface area = 6 × a2

Right circular cylinder: Surface area = 2 × pi × r2 + 2 × pi × r × h. ...

Rectangular prism: Surface area = 2 × l × w + 2 × l × h + 2 × w × h. ...

Sphere: Surface area = 4 × pi × r2 ...

Right circular cone: Surface area = pi × r2 + pi × r ×( √(h2 + r2)) ...

Right square pyramid: Surface area = s2 + 2 × s × l.

The formulae for volumes of various shapes are:

Cuboid: l × b × h, where l , b and h are the length, breadth and height of a cuboid.

Cube: s3, s is the side of the cube.

Cylinder: πr2 h, r is the radius of circular base and h is the height of the cylinder.

Answer...

Surface areas →

cube = 6a²

Cuboid = 2lb + 2lh + 2bh

Cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

sphere = 4πr²

Volumes →

Cube = a³

Cuboid = l x b x h

Cylinder = πr² h

Sphere = 4/3πr³
