Answer:

Fossil fuels, which include coal, oil, and natural gas, have been powering economies for over 150 years and now supply roughly 80% of the world's energy. Carbon-rich remains of animals and plants decomposed and were compressed and heated underground millions of years ago, forming fossil fuels.

Explanation:

Fossil fuels when are burned, the carbon and other greenhouse gases that have been stored are released into the atmosphere. Excess greenhouse gas buildup in the atmosphere has resulted in dramatic changes to the Earth's climate, a trend that will worsen as more fossil fuels are burned.

  1. Industries such as NTPC a Maharatna company that engages in generation of electricity and allied activities, in coming years industries like these will run out of source for production.
  2. Therefore, it will be affecting the power generation as a whole; majorly affecting Metropolitan cities and Zones of Recreation that are Energy and Power dependent.
  3. Measures that can be taken in order to establish a response towards the crisis includes following:-
  • Use of Renewable resources.
  • Use of kinetic energy to produce electricity.
  • New modems of energy production should be implemented to ensure less pollution.
  • Naturally obtained resources should be used in appropriate manner.
  • Pollution due to fossil fuel consumption should be targeted to be reduced.
  • Eco-friendly Biodome should be used to attain certian availability of Natural gas that is Eco-friendly and Easy to produce.
