                               Foster Universal Brotherhood

The spiritual reality is the entire universe is just one family under the Fatherhood of God. Saint Kabir has rightly said, “Awwal Allah Noor Upaya Qudrat Keh Sub Banday Aik Noor Keh Sub Jag Upajiya Kaun Bhale Ko Mandhe” These lines mean in the beginning was God from whose light all mankind was born; so there is no one good, no one bad.

If we look at the world with the spiritual eyes, we shall find the entire world is our own and all humanity is our fraternity. Even scientifically, there was a time before big bang when the universe existed in a nebula. It means we originated from one thing; this oneness binds us not as brothers as sister merely; we happen to be subunits of an infinite whole.

If welook at the totality of life, this world is certainly our world and all humanity our fraternity. Let us prove it with some facts. The world is ours because it sustains us like a caring mother. It gives us oxygen to live on; it provides us food, water, love, and purposeful life. All our happiness; all our aims, all our dreams, our parents, were given to us by this world! Is then this world not our own?

All the humanity is ours too. All the men and women who lived in the past, who invented, discovered, and contributed in making the world a better place, we use all their inventions, discoveries, and things, they are like brothers and sisters to us. Everything we use, is some brother or sister’s contribution to the human fraternity. For example, the telephone invented by Graham Bell, is used by all mankind. Similarly, all other wonders of technology are used by all the mankind. This entire world is a big family; and all men and women are brothers and sisters.

We should foster this sense of mutual belonging to one another and through our thoughts, words, and deeds foster and promote brotherly and sisterly love.
