Isro, which is the Indian Space Research Organisation, which was opened on 15th August 1969, and was found by Vikram Sarabhai.

• This is a government Organisation which is also called as department of space.

• The headquarters of ISRO is in Bangalore.

• It's been half a century ISRO was found, and the administrator of ISRO is K. Sivan

• NASA is one of the most leading space agency on Earth, but a great thing is that ISRO is extremely great and successful than NASA, only thing is that the salary of the astronomers and staff working in NASA is higher than those working in ISRO.

• ISRO is ranked #5 in world space agencies, where as the agency's of USA, China etc stand on the top before ISRO.
