4+2x = \frac{26}{5} \\(4+2x)5 = 26\\20 + 10x = 26\\x = \frac{6}{10}

Greetings..!

Let the number be x .

ATP, 4 is added to 2x to make 26/5.

⇒2x+4 = 26/5

⇒2x = (26/5) - 4 {transposing 4 to RHS}

⇒2x = (26-20)/5

⇒x = 6/5*1/2=3/5

Answer : Hence, the required fraction is 3/5
