Let the no. be x
2x+4=26/5
2x=26/5 - 4/1
2x=26/5 - 20/5
x=6/5 ✖ 1/2
x=3/5

Let the number be x .

ATP, 4 is added to 2x to make 26/5.

⇒2x+4 = 26/5

⇒2x = (26/5) - 4 {transposing 4 to RHS}

⇒2x = (26-20)/5

⇒x = 6/5*1/2=3/5

Answer : Hence, the required fraction is 3/5
