Option ( A ) is correct .

Explanation :

Let Principal ( P ) = Rs x

simple interest ( I ) = 0.15x

Rate of interest ( R ) = 10% per annum

Let the time = T years

We know that ,

( PTR )/100 = I

=> T = ( 100 × I )/( PR )

= ( 100 × 0.15x )/( x × 10 )

= 15x/10x

= 1.5 years

Time ( T ) = 1.5 years
