Answer:

Let the angles be 2x : 3x :5x:8x

so 2x+ 3x +5x +8x= 360

18x = 360

x = 360 ÷ 18

x = 20

so 40,60,100,160 are the angles and the least angle is 40 .

Given :-

  • Shape = Quadrilateral
  • Four angles of the quadrilateral are in ratio of 2:3:5:8.

 \\  \\

To Find :-

  • The Least Angle

 \\  \\

Solution :-

  • Let the First Angle be 2x
  • Let the Second Angle be 3x
  • Let the Third Angle be 5x
  • Let the Fourth Angle be 8x

Sum of all Angles of a Quadrilateral is 360°

According to the Question :

➞ 2x + 3x + 5x + 8x = 360

➞ 5x + 5x + 8x = 360

➞ 5x + 5x + 8x = 360

➞ 5x + 13x = 360

➞ 18x = 360

➞ x = 360/18

x = 20

________________

Hence :-

  • First Angle = 2x = 2 × 20 = 40°
  • Second Angle = 3x = 3 × 20 = 60°
  • Third Angle = 5x = 5 × 20 = 100°
  • Fourth Angle = 8x = 8 × 20 = 160°

________________

Therefore, The Least Angle of the Quadrilateral is 40°
