Four balls A, B, C and D are projected with the same velocity u making angles of 30°, 45°, 60° and 75° respectively with the horizontal. Which ball will strike the ground at the farthest point ?​

So R is directly proportional to 2 theta.

Among 30,45,60,75

30 will give sin60 = √3/2

45 will give sin90 = 1(maximum possible value)

60 will give sin120 = √3/2

and 75 sin150 = 1/2

So 45 degree angle is required for max range.
