Answer:

35 , 25 & 15 m

Explanation:

Four balls are allowed to fall freely from the top of a tower one after the other after one second interval in each case. The first ball reaches the ground after four seconds. Find the distances between first and second - second and third - third and fourth.

The first ball reaches the ground after four seconds

S = Ut + (1/2)aT²

U = 0 Fall Freely

a = g

T = 4

=> S₁ = 0 + (1/2)10 * 4² = 80 m

Second ball traveled for 4-1 = 3 sec

=> S₂ = 0 + (1/2)*10 * 3² = 45 m

Third ball traveled for 3-1 = 2 sec

=> S₃ = 0 + (1/2)*10 * 2² = 20 m

Fourth ball traveled for 2-1 = 1sec

=> S₄ = 0 + (1/2)*10 * 1² = 5 m

distances between first and second = 80 - 45 = 35 m

distances between second and third = 45 - 20 = 25 m

distances between third and fourth. =  20 - 5 = 15 m
