Four boys 'A','B','C'and 'D'are all standing at comers
of a sqaure. All of them start moving with same speed
such that 'A' is heading exactly towards 'B','B'
towards 'C', 'C' towards 'D' and 'D' towards 'A'. When
they finally meet, what will be the ratio of
displacement to distance covered by a boy?

Answer:

According to the problem the boys are placed in the four point of the square. Now they start moving with the fixed speed . As the problem stated they are moving towards each other corresponding to them., like A is going to B  abd B is going to C like that. Therefore it is impossible for them to meet in a particular point.
