We can analyze this data as follows.

The boys who were there are :

1.) Henry

2.) Billy

3.) John

4.) Greg

The girls are :

1.) Mary — Mary did not receive from Henry, John or Greg.

This leaves us with Billy therefore Mary received from Billy.

We now have three girls left and three boys.

2.) Anabel — She did not receive from Greg or Henry. From the remaining three we have John, therefore she received from John.

3.) Harriet — She did not receive from John and Greg and since we are left with Henry and Greg, She received from Henry.

4.) Deborah — She is the only one left and Greg is the only one left and tgusthus she received from Greg.

Answer:

Anabel received from John.
