Four cells each of emf E are joined in parallel to form a battery. Equivalent EMF of the battery will be???
well the answer given is E !! but i didn't get the ques.? plz help..!!!

The potential difference of the resulting battery would indeed be E. This is because the potential does not vary when connected in parallel (unlike resistors).
