                     let cost of one table be t

thus, 4c + 2t = 2500  ....(1)

and,  6c + 5t = 6000 .... (2)

multiply equation (1) by 3 and equation (2) by 2

thus we get,

12c + 6t = 7500

12c + 10t = 12000

subract the new two equations

12c + 6t - 12c - 10t = 7500 - 12000

thus, -4t = -4500

thus, t = 4500/4

t = 1125 Rs

so c = 62.5 Rs
