The heart has four chambers: two atria and two ventricles.

⏺️The right atrium receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the right ventricle.

⏺️The right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs.

⏺️The left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle.

The human heart has four chambers -

Right and left auricles ( or atria ) and

Right and left ventricle

The upper two chambers are called auricles . They have thin walls , and receive blood from different parts of the body.

The lower two chambers are called ventricles. Blood from ventricles is pumped out of the heart .
