Four children A, B, C, and D measure the length of a table which was about 1 m. Each of them
used different ways to measure it.
(i) A measured it using a 2 m long measuring tape.
(ii) B measured it with a 10 cm scale from her geometry box.
(iii)C measured it using her hand span.
(iv) D measured it with a .5 meter long thread.
Which one of them would get the most accurate length? Give a reason for your answer.
If anyone will give the proper answer I will mark Him/her as brainiest and give so many points but the reason also should be there...Then only I will make him/her as brainliest

Answer:
(i) A, using a 2m long tape.
Explanation:
i) Because the tape is twice the length of the table, there shall be no errors in calculation.
ii) A small 10cm scale would mean marking, displacing and again measuring for ten times! And, this could just lack behind by some millimeters.
iii) Hand span differs from person to person, and at times, so a part of the hand, might not touch the table, or the aftermath measure, so it's not accurate.
iv) Even 0.5 meters would mean a displacement 2 times (0.5 m + 0.5m = 1m), so that may cause a slight difference as stated in (i).
