Four classes A, B, C and D raised money for a charity. Classes A and B
raised a total of $108. Together, classes B, C and D raised a total of $180.
The total amount of money raised by all 4 classes is 5 times the amount that
class B raised.​

Answer:

a+b+c+d=5b

108+(180-b)=5b

288-b=5b

288=6b b=288÷6=48

Amount raised by class b=$48

amount raised by class a=108-48=$60

amount raised by classes c and d=180-48=$132

amount raised by all classes= 60+48+132=$240=$(5*48)
