Four containers or dishes similar in size are labelled A, B, C and D. Dry cotton-wool
is placed at the bottom of each container. The four containers A, B, C and D are
treated as follows:
(a) Soaked bean seeds are kept in the container A and a few drops of water are
added daily to moisten the cotton-wool.
(b) Soaked bean seeds are placed in the container B but the cotton-wool is not
moistened.
(c)
Unsoaked bean seeds are placed in the container C without adding water.
(d) Soaked seeds are placed in the container D and water is added sufficiently to
submerge the seeds.
In all the containers, A, B, C and D, an equal number of seeds from the same
lot are kept in the same conditions of light and temperature.
(a) What result would you notice in each of the containers after few days?
I will mark as brainliest whoever will answer this

a. in container a the beings will soon germinate since the conditions for germination are optimum that is there is enough moisture and sunlight for its germination
b. in this container the beans are soaked and placed in the container but the Cotton wool is not moisture and so after few days we will notice that the seeds become dry due to a lack of water and it won't germinate
c. in this container the beans are not soap and water is also not added so there will be no change in the seeds and it will not germinate this type of setup is also known as the control setup
d.in this the seeds will die because there is excess of moisture as we know for germination the optimum level is required not the axis so here also there will be no germination
