surface are of cuboid = 2 (lb + bh + lh)

=2( (12 ×48) + (12 ×12)+ (12×48) )

48 \times 12 = 576 \\ 12 \times 12 = 144 \\ 48 \times 12 = 576 \\ 576 + 576 + 144 = 1296 \\ 1296 \times 2 = 2592

= 2592 Sq. cm
