Dear Student,

● Answer -

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 160 cm^2

Total surface area = 288 cm^2

● Explanation -

According to given data, dimensions of cuboid are 16 cm × 4 cm × 4 cm.

l = 16 cm

b = 4 cm

h = 4 cm

Lateral surface area of cuboid is -

LSA = 2lh + 2bh

LSA = 2×16×4 + 2×4×4

LSA = 128 + 32

LSA = 160 cm^2

Lateral surface area of cuboid is -

TSA = 2lb + 2lh + 2bh

TSA = 2×16×4 + 2×16×4 + 2×4×4

TSA = 128 + 128 + 32

TSA = 288 cm^2

Hence, lateral surface area of cuboid is 160 cm^2 and total surface area is 288 cm^2.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
