Four cubes of edge 5 cm each are placed side
by side and stuck together as shown. If the outer
surface alone is painted at 300 per m², find the
cost of painting​

TSA of cube=2(20*5)+(20*5)+(5*5)

cost=450*300

Answer:

Surface area of a cube = 6 side²

= 6 × (5cm)²

= 6 × 25 cm²

= 150 cm²

Surface area of four cubes = 150cm² × 4

= 600cm²

= 0.06 m²

Cost of painting in 1m² = 300

Cost of painting in 0.06m² = 300 × 0.06

= 300 × 6/100

= 18
