Subject: Application for 12 days’ leave

Sir:

Respectfully I wish to state that my family is going on an excursion to Europe from October 10 2018 to October 21, 2018. It is a rare opportunity. Kindly allow me 12 days’ leave. I assure you I will not let my study suffer on account of this excursion. I am enclosing the air-tickets and itinerary along with the application. I shall be exceedingly thankful.
