Four examiners can examine a certain number of answer papers in 10 days by working for 5 h a day. For how many hours in a day would 2 examiners have to work in order to examine twice the number of answerpapers in 20 days.?

Let the no. of papers the 4 examiners can examine in 10 days be x
so the 4 examiners can examine x papers in 50 hrs ( 10 days for 5 hrs each )
now ,
no. of examiners = 2
no. of answer papers =2x ( dpuble the initial nos.)
so 2 examiners will take 4 time the no. of hours to check 2x papers that 4 examiners took
which is equal to 200 hrs
since they are supposed to complete the checking in 20 days
therefore they will have to work for 200÷20 = 10 days
hence ans is 10 days
