Step-by-step explanation:

water in bottle = 1 litre(1000ml)

water left = 650ml

water used = total water-water left = 1000ml-650ml = 350ml

  • Four friends had a bottle of water each.

  • Each bottle contained 1 litre of water.

  • On an average, each friend drank 750 ml of water from his/her bottle.

  • Total quantity of water = 4 × 1000 = 4000 ml
  • Avg. water consumption by all friends = 750 × 4 = 3000
  • Water left = 1000 ml

  • MAXIMUM number of friends who could have drank only 450 ml of water is tw0.
