Answer:

As a convention it is located at the top of the window as a horizontal bar. The title bar is typically used to display the name of the application, or the name of the open document, and may provide title bar buttons for minimizing, maximizing, closing or rolling up of application windows.

Answer:

Four functions of tittle bar:

1)Placement:

In the upper-left corner of the title bar, you'll find an icon that identifies the application you're using. If you're using Microsoft Word, for example, you'll see a blue "W" there. Next to the app icon, you'll see a horizontal bar that extends to the right corner and contains the title of the document or page as well as the name of the app. Three buttons are located in the upper-right corner. These include a small dash to minimise the screen and move it to the taskbar, a small square to reduce and restore the screen size, and a red "x" to close the window.

2) Moving Windows:

In addition to displaying the title of a web page or document, you can use the text portion of the title bar to perform several functions. For example, by placing the cursor on the bar and holding down the mouse, you can reduce the size of the window and move it around the screen. This allows you to simultaneously view parts of the second open window and the first window.

3) Double-click the mouse:

You can also place the cursor on the title bar text and double-click the mouse. When the window is fully maximized, it reduces its size and allows you to move it around the screen. Like the previous feature, this is useful if you want to view parts of two pages or documents at once. Double-clicking restores the window to its original size.

4) Smart Window:

Smart Window, a Windows 7 feature, lets you view two windows side by side. To use a smart window, place the cursor on the title bar of the first window. While holding down the mouse button, drag the resized window to the left until the cursor reaches the edge of the screen. Drag the second window, moving it to the right.
