between 4 and 972 ,

first term = a = 4 ,

six term = a6 = 972

common ratio = r

ar^5 = 972

4r^5 = 972

r^5 = 972/4

r^5 = 243

r^5 = 3^5

therefore ,

r= 3

Now ,

required 4 terms are

x1 = ar = 4 × 3 = 12

x2 = ar² = 4×3² = 36

x3 = ar³ = 4 × 3³ = 108

x4 = ar^4 = 4 × 3^4 = 324
