The length of the rope = (1/2) side of the square plot

This is because horses cannot reach one another.

Thus, the length of the rope = 63/2 = 31.5 m

The area covered by each horse = The area of sector with radius of 31.5 m  .

Total area covered by the four horses = 4* area of sector of radius 31.5 metres = Area of circle of radius 31.5m

Area left ungrazed by the horses = Area of the square field – Area covered by the four horses    = (63)2 – (22/7)*31.5*31.5 = 3969 – 3118.5 = 850.5 m2
