4 important results of Sepoy mutiny:
1. On 2nd August 1857 AD, "An act of better government in India" has been passed.
2. On 1st November 1858 AD, Queen Victoria had promised in declaration.
   1. The doctrine of lapse will be ended.
   2. Indians will be appointed as per their qualification.
   3. The policy of imperial expansion will be ended.
3. The indian army will be reorganized so that sepoy will not be appointed as higher military servicer.
4. The indian Council act has been passed in 1861 AD.
