Four learners were invited to help themselves to oranges on a tree. The first learner, Jason, picked a third of oranges on the tree for him and his siblings. Cathy picked a third of what was left. Steven picked 5% more than Cathy while Nicky 9 less than Cathy. After they have all taken their oranges, there were 8 oranges left on the tree. Calculate how many oranges everyone picked, how many there were in total.
