The materials which are no more usable for us and can cause environmental pollution,are known as the waste materials.

According to the physical properties of these waste materials,we classify them into four major divisions.

Such as;

1) Liquid waste materials.

Eg. Dirty sewage water.

2) Solid rubbishes:

Eg. Broken concrete chunks,metal pieces etc.

3) Organic waste materials:

Eg. Vegetable and fruit peels.

4) Non-biodegradable waste materials:

Eg. Plastic,PVC etc.
