Heya!!
I have some functions mentioned below for u....
1)To carry oxygen around the body after the blood has been pumped around the body.
Red blood cells take up oxygen in the lungs and deliver it to cells.
Red blood cells carry oxygen to all of the tissues and parts of the body.
2) They also carry carbon dioxide from the cells to the lungs, where they will be exchanged for oxygen.
3)Red blood cells contain specific proteins (haemoglobins), which bind with the oxygen and the carbon dioxide (not at the same sites), enabling the transport of these gases.
But, of all those points I have written, to be honest have a single answer..TO CARRY OXYGEN!! and that's the main answer u have. So, u just need to expand the answer and write and (no other option)
If u like the answer pls mark it as, the BRAINLIEST!!
