As we know from binding energy per nucleon and mass number curve, highest binding energy per nucleon is for Fe nucleus . So if a heavy nuclei is less then mass of Fe nucleus then binding energy of daughter nucleus is large ....so, if a heavy nuclei is more then mass of Fe nucleus then binding energy of daughter nucleus is less .
