net force on  2 μc at the centre of the square. is Zero

Explanation:

its a square

Center of the square is  at equal distance from each vertex

F = kq₁q₂/r²

Same charges repel

& opposite charges attract

qa= 2 μc

qc= 2 μc

are two charges of same magnitude at diagonally opposite vertex

Hence force by them at 2 μc on center will of of same magnitude but in opposite direction

Hence cancel out each other

qb= -5 μc

qd= -5 μc

are two charges of same magnitude at diagonally opposite vertex

Hence force by them at 2 μc on center will of of same magnitude but in opposite direction

Hence cancel out each other

So net force on  2 μc at the centre of the square. is Zero
